Taken at Bushkill Falls a day or two after a good rain. The river was flowing heavey.

Taken with my Canon EOS T2i with an 18-270mm Lens

Exposure Time 1/4
Focal Length 18
F Stop 8

Hope to get comments and or feedback.

Nice attempt but there seems there are some problems here. There is no interesting things to hold the interest of the viewer. Try taking such landscape pictures in landscape format. Square format doesn't work well for these subjects, As far as composition goes, square frames have a static feeling where as the landscape formats have a dynamic feeling to it. Then concentrate on the lighting. Early morning or late evening is the great time as the light is softer and it can bring more colors. There are exceptions to this rule though. But generally the river, trees are best photographed during early mornings or late evenings and you get more dynamic range also. Pay attention to what you want to shoot ( elements of composition ie. colors, patterns, lines etc..) and think how to show them better in a photograph. Hope that helps. :toast:

Santosh.

Hi DK - The light in the upper center is delightful. I might be tempted to bring out more shadow detail on both the left and right sides. What processing software and or pug ins do you use?

@ Santosh - Thanks for your comments and suggestions. I will try them out. FYO, it was an overcast day for the most part, and we could not have got there any sooner, since Bushkill Falls State Park isn't open til 9am est.

@ Eva - Hi ya Eva, thank you for your comments and ideas on how to make my photo better. I appreciate it. I am using Lightroom 3 for editing software (still learning it).
