There is nothing in this image except light and water, so it is nature. A balcony fell off of the motel with some people on it, so these buildings are closed and deserted making this a great place to shoot reflections undisturbed.

Hmmm, not sure of your interpretation - this image has only the reflections of man-made buildings, so it's not only "nature" (IMO).
Interesting, nontheless, and a nice image. .

It works for me and it's a good reflection shot, Robert.

This is a beautiful image. It looks just like a painting.

Thanks for the compliments. It is interesting that you should see it that way, Sandy. In the final analysis, seeing things differently is the essence of photography. At any rate, it is the Columbia River, so it fits the category, I think.

Very beautiful image. I think it fits this weeks challenge very well. It was a great idea to show the building's reflections in the river instead of just showing the river next to the buildings.

I'm fine with it as posted, Robert. I particularly like that reflections are just a bit wavy. Also, the color combination is emphatic and unusual.

Robert, this image makes me a kind of vertigo, yet I can enjoy the interesting alienation effect and the vivid colors!

This is exactly why I love moderating this gallery. The image makes us all think about our interpretation of the challenge. This is really beautiful, Robert. The fact there there are no actual buildings in the photograph - just water and bouncing light makes it a nature shot - and yet, the reflection of the man-made makes it undeniably urban. I love it... especially the wavy lines and the rich colors. Well done!
