Went for a walk in the woods yesterday and found this specimen clump of cypripedium acaule.

What a beautiful dense bunch of lady's slippers! The centered comp is perfect for this, and the Canada mayflowers make a nice background.

The centered comp works perfectly here Bob. Rich color. Soft light. Good subject separation. Beautiful image. No suggestions.

Gorgeous color and the vignette and blur keep the focus on the bunch, which is fantastic of course. Very well done.

Funny, Bob - I saw another photo yesterday (elsewhere) with a very similar grouping of White Lady's Slippers. He was from Maine - where did you make this photo ?
You not only got so many in one frame but all of them are in very pristine condition. No nits from me, works very well as presented.

Wow, a cluster of Lady's Slippers. This is a beautiful shot with the bright green leaves to set off the purple flowers. I like your composition choice to cut off the bottom of the plants, it emphasizes the flowers.
