There was a suggestion (thanks Paul M) to try a B&W version of my post from a day or two back, (click here) , so I gave it a try using LR and then PS4 for levels adjustment. I don't do many B&W so I'd be interested in feedback.

Excellent specular light on the rocks. The mood is amazing and I like the somewhat cinematic green tones. I would recommend to take out the magentas in the highlights though - they are too strong an don't work too well for me in here.

Neale, I think the green and the bw are both pretty cool versions, I would keep them both IMO.

My personal preference is the b&w, although the green is pretty cool. The touches of light really stand out against the rocks and the dramatic sky gives the image an interesting mood.

The B&W is nice as the magenta is gone, but I also liked the greenish one. Both work well for me.

The mysterious light source under such dark skies creates the power in this one.

I'll vote BW. I really like the glistening rocks surrounded by all that dark. The sky adds a lot to the drama.

The b&w repost is fabulous, Neale. The overall dark mood really suits the subject well. The glistening rocks are wonderful in that stormy light. A very nice comp as well.
