Congratulations Harshad! What a stunning image, absolutely wonderful capture :^)

This is one species I was praying to come across in Borneo, as they're found there too, but didn't get so much as a glimpse. Although they're also known as Oriental Dwarf Kingfishers, they also go by the name Black-Backed Kingfisher. Hope to have an opportunity with them one day, until then, this beautiful picture of yours will keep me smiling for sure, many thanks for sharing :^)

What a beautiful bird (and just as beautiful photo)!

The colours are unreal. Is that a spider it is feeding on?

Amazing colors Harshad, both in bird and background! I might try to sharpen the spider a bit more, the spider is a wonderful addition to this lovely image. Would love to see one of these, wow.

Stunning image. Great colors, iridescence. The background looks like it was dyed to match.

Amazing display of colors with a complimentary background to go along, plus the spider in the beak is a real bonus, well seen and well done.
