I love the colors here, Sandy, especially the gentle gradation of greens and browns in the head. Interesting action and great detail too. Really beautiful shot.

I doubt the fish feels the same way though ;^)

Beautiful close-up Sandy, also really like the way the rippling water offers a sense of forward momentum :^)

Just great, Sandy. Beautiful portrait of a happy bird and the reflections are splendid, the fish is colorful. You've got it all here. Double thumbs up.

I like the darker "mood", the low angle , colors on the fish, bow wave action, vivid red eye, and gradation of colors on the head.
Is this full-frame?

Spectacular, Sandy, particularly the larger version. I see loons occasionally in the Adirondacks, including being a spotter in the annual loon census, but I have never come close to seeing such a view, let alone getting such a beautiful photograph. Bravo!
