A Great Egret on a recent windy day. Shot at Greenwich Point in CT. NikonD300s with 300mm f2.8 with 1.4tc. ISO-320, f-6.3 and 1/1600 shutter speed. Thanks for looking, comments and critique appreciated. Ray

I like it, Ray. Although its hard to see without a larger version it looks sharp from here. Cool how the feathers are blowing, good comp as well.

Ray, I enjoy seeing the head, with its colors, coming out in front of the wing. Sharpness looks good at this size and even the wing tips are crisp at this SS. Personally I'd like to see just a little more detail in some of the whites but they certainly aren't blown.

Good placement in the frame Ray. Detail, DOF, and exposure looks very good also.
Would need to see it large to say more.

lovely position of the wings captured here,detail seems very good on those hard to get whites.The windblown feathers add interest as does the head peaking out ,nice dash of colour with the green breeding colours on the beak.
