Old Woman, June challeng

If I understand the theme this month this should be acceptable. This is an old woman that took care of a small group of Tibetan monks in Kathmandu, Nepal. I took this shot as she was washing dishes and pans at an outside spigot. No actual filter was used, but I did use a separate image of a very grainy wood surface and played with transparency to get this effect. Comments and suggestion would be more than helpful on this kind of effort.

Nicely done Charlie! The wood texture goes well with the old woman's face.

A very nice portrait and the wood texture works very well with it. The only thing I would change would be to have the texture be a little more subtle by having greater transparency or by darkening the color of the texture a little.
