Michael,

Excellent near/far composition with great color and vibrance. Although I might tone down the red on the mountain a tad - but then it's also a matter of personal taste. Sweet light on the prickly pear - and throughout the scene for that matter. I like this one.

I like the elements here and the overall idea but not completely sold on the composition. The mid ground takes up 1/4 of the frame and apart from providing a band of attractive colour, there's not a whole lot to warrant that much of the frame. A lower perspective would have compressed this area while giving more room for the interesting details of the cacti below. The sky is also polarized unevenly.

Good one Michael, I like it. I agree with Lon on toning down the redness of the mountain a bit. But It also is good as it is, because you see nice golden warm light in the bottom left corner on the cactus which makes a nice light balance with the red mountain. Just my personal thought.
