Hey Todd, like the idea, would have liked to seen the whole image in focus with all the great textures. Go higher on the f/stop on these.

Todd:
Nice arrangement with the flower straddling the diagonals on either side. Apart from the top bloom, the others are a little soft. There seems to be some spherical aberration as well with loss of sharpness of the leaf at the top and bottom.

I really like your idea for this photo, Todd. Great mixture of green tones, texture and the added addition of water drops. Agree that this needed a higher F stop such as F/18, 22 (or higher if sharpening done.) With your comp and subject matter, clear focus overall would make this a winner!

Thanks for all the comments. I knew this was going to be a great image but I let the security of the back of the camera fail me again. I don't know why im so hard headed that I don't look at the back of the camera at 100%. I tried to stop down the f stop but there was and ever so slight breeze so I thought if I increased the iso and brought the shutter speed to 1/80th of a sec it would give me a crisp image. Once again I thought wrong. I have learned my lesson and will forever plamp, clothes pin or wind block my subject so there is no chance of movement and I will zoom in to 100%. I cant tell you all how many great images I have taken that have fallen short because I was to lazy to do these things before I click the shutter. Gesh! It makes me want to drive back the 180 miles and retake the picture with a little more patience. Thanks again for all your help.
