I was out in my garden shooting some flowers and I got an idea. I shot this one thru other green plants to get the soft effect.

Looks like the wind has made the flowers dance and you caught the one in mid-step. Your idea produced a wonderful image. :wavey:

Exceptional image for my tastes Cheryl. Perfect balance between sharp focus and soft elements. Love the mood and light as well.

You produced a very nice effect Cheryl. I really like your comp and the painterly affect of your shoot-through, but mostly I like the sharp flower bottom and stem with the softer white petals. Well done!

Nice cram Cheryl. I do not mind that OOF flower on the right (or left for that matter). I do wish that the flower in the BG and the bud right in front of the main subject's stem was not quite so in focus...

Cramming (shooting through other leaves and blooms) is a very fun and effective technique!

Thank you, Hey Vince believe it or not, the bg is really the foreground stems and flowers that I was shooting thru. Pretty cool huh? I do like the way it came out.
