Columbine with repost

Continuation of a single plant I found growing wild near my home. I've never seen these in my area before.

Tech specs: Canon 7d, 24-105 @ 67mm, 2+ diopter, f4, 1/13 sec, +.33 stop, tripod, cable release, manual focus

I like the color in this Neven and the soft green bg. My only reservation is the oof bloom behind the front subject. To my eye it blends with the in focus bloom and interferes with it's shape. Don't know that there was a perspective that would have allowed you to avoid this though. I think columbines are a difficult flower to photograph. The colors and light in this are really nice.

I like the comp, colors and the detail in the main flower. The BG is good as well except for the dark band running vertically down the left side, which I find a little distracting. Otherwise excellent, IMO.

I like the repost. The oof flower wasn't an issue with me, but I do think the BG in this is improved.
