Audubon's Oriole

This Audubon's Oriole was photographed at a feeding station at Falcon State Park in Zapata, Tx. This male was partaking in some marshmallows and oranges that were set out on trees. He exhibited a unique feeding posture which caught my attention. Photo was taken after a thunderstorm with varying light.

Canon 7D, 300 mm f2.8 lens, f2.8, ISO 400, 1/2000, Aperture priority with tripod

Comments welcome and appreciated.

Loopy from a sugar rush, no doubt. Interesting behavior. I don't think it does much for the picture, though.

Interesting pose and nice details on the bird. The marshmallow doesn't help the image though. It is very bright and really competes for the attention of the viewer.

I agree with the others Carlos. The bird and surroundings are great, but the marshmallow kind of ruins it for me.

Carlos - this is a fine image, but the marshmallow has got to go!
Carefully cloning it out and leaving even a bare space would be better.
