Devil's Garden

I revisited Devil's Garden earlier this month and wanted to get another comp of these interesting formations from a bit farther away. I am a firm believer that the Zuiko 50 F2 is the sharpest lens that Olympus makes. Taken just as the morning sun was illuminating the hoodoos.

Olympus E-3 ZD50 F2 unfiltered, ISO 100 1/50 f8 0.0EV

These hoodoos are so neat, and it's even more neat how they mimic each other. Nicely done.

Yeah - this one rocks. Aside from the great subject the comp and light are amazing. Nice job, Bill.

These formations are amazing and I like the comp, Bill. The morning light is always good to work with and you made the most of it here.

I love this place and the light you have on it. It's a very unique line-up of rocks, though it has a fraternity ritual look to it, which of course goes along quite well with the image's title
