Several dozen Snowy Egrets were fishing in a small pond. Off course lots of territorial fights broke out, usually beginning with a scene like this one.

Wayne,
I love the fighting look of these Egrets. Great detail and exposure. The tranquility of the Ibis in the background contrasts with the bickering of the Snowy. Beautiful behavioral shot.

I like your timing on capturing the posturing between these two. Looks like the nearer one is winding up to take a swing.

Snowy's with an attitude! I like the behavior Wayne and f/13 did a good job getting both birds sharp.

Great image. Love the fluffy headdress these two are displaying. Good job popping the F stop up the get everything. Nice and sharp-especially at 1/180.

Excellent shot. Like the bird in background to add extra flavor to the composition without detracting from beautiful subjects.

I've seen Snowy fights a lot but have never been able to capture one well. I love the face off views of the 2 birds. I do find the ibis a bit distracting, just too many birds in Florida

Nicely captured, and fine work on the whites.

They look like they are getting ready to duke it out. Nice shot, love the guy in the background not paying any attention at all, kinda like these guys bluff each other all the time. Nice white feathers and detail, a nice capture.

Awesome job of getting this interaction Wayne! Wish the Ibis wasn't there, but not much you can do about that. Too bad he didn't join the fight, it could ahve been a gang war.

Excellent exposure of the whites. I like the reflection of the fine feathers on the right and, of course, the behavioral interaction aspect of the shot.
