The bleeding heart flowers are beautiful right now. I got lost in taking many photos of them one wonderful spring day.

Canon Rebel T1i. 90mm macro. F/7.1 for 1/13 sec. ISO 100.

Beautiful, Carolyn. I like the off center comp and the separation you achieved from the very complementary BG. Color looks great on my monitor as well.

Love the off-center comp and your DOF. Beautiful color combination. It's easy to get lost behind the lens with subjects this beautiful!

One of my favorite flowers too! Very fine image, imo. Excellent detail, lovely colours, and great BG.
One tiny nit - that little cobweb-ish thingy just to the left of the stem. Gone = perfect!
Excellent!

Very nice isolation Carolyn. I like the leaf in the BG too.

As an aside, congrats on having a photo in Outdoor Photographer in the last issue.

Carolyn:
Beautiful flower and good bg separation. The pattern on the top looks great. Wish the tip of the flower is equally sharp.

Very nice. I especially like the blurred leaf on the left. It compliments the crisp details of the heart superbly.

This is a stunning image. The rich colors and the vibrant but gentle bg make it a winner.

Stunning. The background works so well in color, I just find I'd like a little more space to the right of the flower. Beautiful.
