The Keyhole

I used my 70-200 to compress a corridor running through Lower Antelope Canyon and used Helicon Focus to blend multiple focal points.

Thanks in advance for any C&Cs!

Yummy warm tones and nice compelling shapes! Looks like labyrinth from within.

A very interesting slot canyon image Justin. I The light works great, but what I think is the strongest aspect is that this is done in "cubism" style. Lots of edges, and shapes, intersecting and intermingling. Really strong!

I almost don't know where to look with all these great shapes, but the composition works oh so well here. Some great warm light too! :wavey:

I noticed the same thing as Didl about intersecting shapes and cubist style. I think that is the strength of the image. That being said, I wonder what this would look like in B&W. Fantastic work!

Nice. I find it tough to wrap my head around this as there's no depth cues. I think a crop from the bottom and right would exaggerate the abstract cubism feel. Cool shot. :toast:

Very nice Justin - kind of plays tricks with the eyes at first due to the compressed POV. A wild variety of shapes, textures, and colors. Excellent.

Justin, this is a fine take on that popular spot. Certainly no issue with sharpness and an interesting comp.

the focus blending really extended your dof nicely here, and the arrangement of lines and tones is superb :toast:

just super light and textures here!

Question: how many different shots with varying focal points did you use to get it sharp right through? and what was the aperture setting on the 70-200 lens?

Very creative composition...this might be my favorite slot canyon shot yet. Almost seems like you could reach into it.

What an terrific composition. All of the repeated shapes and line give the appearance of an optical illusion. This is so sensuous. Tthe warm glow at the back allows Alice to escape from Foreverland.

Great depth of field and blend Justin. I could see adding a slight vignette to the foreground. There is also some noticeable sharpening artifacts along a few of the edges. I like the white balance you chose. Excellent looking image, fits like a puzzle.
