Inquisitive Grizzly cub

When you get geared up with long lenses to ensure there is enough distance between you and your subject, for 'safety' reasons and to give your subject respect, the last thing you expect is for your subject, a spring cub, to then come and sit beside you whilst Mum (Mom) goes off to fish.

This little guy had no worries or fears, so kindly graced us with his presence for a few minutes before moving on to see what the catch of the day was from Mum. Just goes to prove, having another camera body to hand with a smaller lens is worth doing, if possible.

Beautiful image showing the cute and playful side of these bear cubs. I like the slightly upturned head and those big paws.

Love the crouching pose, those claws and the expressions!
I just wonder if this would benefit from darkening the mid tones a touch.
