Stock dove
by David Sewell
There are certain species that, if I am honest, I tend not to bother about. Pigeons and gulls are two examples. However, I have been watching a small party of stock doves on one of my local patches for most of the winter and early spring, and there are still two of them left, of which this is one. On the whole, I wish I had tried for them earlier.
Thanks for looking.

Great clarity on this one, David. The soft lighting and natural setting make for a lovely looking image.

I had 9 down at my field pool last week in the afternoon. Very nervous they are too. They get shot by the dozen as the area is swarming with ferals.
Nice one.
