The iris are really in full bloom behind our house now. Went out yesterday morning to take advantage of it before the winds hit today.

For me this has high key affect which I like. Good choice of DOF also.

As Robert said, I really like the high key presentation and shallow DOF. The almost duplicate OOF flower in the background is great. Very well done!!

Hey, Cory, what about Brockman Lane? When I was there a couple of weeks ago the field was almost was almost dry. This is a very nice image, it has a wonderful painterly feel to, because of your choice of DOF. Very Plaine Aire. Which is a style of painting done in the field quickly.

thanks Paul. the iris along brockman have been at peak(peaked?) over the last several days. lots of iris this season. though the last few days have been very windy and down right cold yesterday so that probably beat up the flowers pretty good. I'd say they're on the back side of peak now.

I really like the overall soft feeling of the image and the pale blue/green color, well done
