Wood Stork Landing

I am continuing in my efforts to learn BIF photography. I am quite proud of this image as it is my best BIF capture so far. The wood stork is sharp, the wing and leg positions are nice, and the exposure was good enough to get detail in both the black and the white areas. Of course, what ruins this image is the bird that is sitting in the tree. But for now, since I'm concentrating on learning BIF photography, I have decided to pretend that that bird isn't there

Critiques and comments are very welcome and appreciated. Thanks for looking!

It is a well taken image, Carol. As you say the blacks, whites and the exposure is just great. We who have a lot yet to learn are showing our work with the best. I've never gotten a flight shot anywhere near as good as this. Keep plugging. :wavey:

Crisp, clear, sharp details Carol, great job on the exposure here too..And I can pretend the second bird is not there as well
Even though it's a bit hard to see, there's an interaction going here that I like..And don't tell the other parent they shouldn't be there, you might get an argument on that one
Well done, keep it up :toast:
