Pretty colorful bird well set off against a very pleasing background. I like the comp as well, but I wouldn't mind seeing more space on both sides of the bird if you had the room.

Perfect, imo.
Nice pose, fine detail, great BG and the comp works fine for me.

A good look at this YHBB Craig. Nice perch and pose and BG. I do notice a broad halo in the grey areas by the tail and back, possibly from a shadow adjustment. Still a very nice capture.

Nice pose and graduated BG. It could go brighter for me.

The background on this image draws me in. I really like the graduated look to it. Nice bird too!! All puffed up about something.. Nicely done.

Kind of like the tight crop. Nice colors in the head. Maybe just a little more detail in the blacks.

Beautiful subject and wonderful pose Craig :^)
I love the colours and the detail in most parts of the bird, though for some reason the head seems less sharp than the body, but maybe that just me.

Excellent capture and presentation of this Blackbird - I do also see that the head is a tad soft due only perhaps to slight motion from the 1/20 sec shutter speed.

great shot craig! these guys come through our area during late spring early summer and are here now. they usually hang around in the cottonwood tree behind our house but not this year. they must've found a better spot somewhere in town.

Excellent pose on a perch. Love the colors, esp that bg in two tone. Might be a tad soft around the head, but a great image.
