The Keyhole in Kaua'i with a B/W conversion (intentionally processed dark).
Camera Settings: Canon EOS 5D Mark II, ISO 100, 8 sec at f/18.0, 3-Stop ND, 6-Stop ND (because I didn't have my 10-Stop ND)

I like the comp Jon but find the contrast a bit much. I don't know if you took multiple exposures. I think more detail in the dark and ultra white area would help bring this to another level.

Fascinating scene, Jon. I like the strong contrasts, the cleanly separated dark and bright image regions, and the distant clouds. I think a little too much real estate is given to the foreground lava.

I love the shot.
I do think a few areas the dark may be just a little too dark though...

This is a cool shot Jon. Great use of the ND filters. The contrast in this scene is just a bit too much for my taste. I like how you included the line of clouds on the horizon in your composition.
