I was at Lamar Valley in Yellowstone O-dark-early waiting for enough light to shoot. We were watching some pronghorn down in the valley making there way towards our position. I sensed some movement behind me and saw this one running around the back of us. I spun around and took a shot with what ever camera settings I had. At first I looked at the image as a bust but then thought it was worth keeping as it showed the sense of speed these animals have. What do you think?

EOS 30D
EF500mm f/4L IS USM
1/15s f6.7
ISO 1600

I like the colors. Your panning technique is excellent. you might crop a little of the brightness from the bottom. Or maybe darken the lower left a little bit.

I think this is a really neat shot. The blur really does offer a great sense of speed. Lucky shot or not, it works! Well done!
