Cherry Pink Crab

Tree flowers haven't popped out in Minnesota yet this Spring..but this image at least gets me to thinkin' about what is to come! Composed with a Hasselblad CM and normal lens -at a shallow dof to create a somewhat surreal effect (I think).

Well done Jeff. I might prefer a touch more dof in this but a purely subjective preference. Beautiful light and a very appealing color palette.

Beautiful splattering of pinks through-out the frame, Jeff  - I like it. Like Pat, I'd have liked a bit more DOF to cover the OOF blooms near the bottom edge of the frame.

Jeff: I'm OK with the DOF. My only preference would be for it to be a little larger. FYI, the Purchase Print link appears to be down. >=))>

Really neat image Jeff, with the OOF spot in the center, it feels like I am being sucked into the picture. Wonderfully seen and composed in my opinion.

I like your chosen effect. The colors are excellent and the result is a little on the abstract side.
