A Willow Warbler from the weekend, only reason I know its the willow warbler was because I also got the chiffchaff, I was listening to them singing, else I wouldn t have known which was which.

Canon 1DMK4, Canon 500f4L + 1.4 convertor, ISO 400, f8, 1/640

Very nice Karen. They are very difficult to tell apart.

I like the open beak.

Cheers

I always get them muddled too Karen, as you say, the song helps. A cracking shot with a nice clean b/g. Lucky you!

They are smart looking birds.

Light looks a little harsh, but I've gotta say Karen - the perch is upside down - stands out a bit!

Cracking BG :wavey:

Thanks everyone, Andy don t know why you say the perch is upside down, this bare branch was in a tree hanging down with lots of other branches the same and with warblers if its a clean shot I will go for it, the branch is perfectly natural

It looks good to me, Karen, with the clean background and beautiful composition that are fast becoming hallmarks of your work.

Looks OK to me, even though I was going off plain backs a bit but I'm not sure.
No big deal anyway, good stuff.
