I always forget to get a portrait when in the field, so my peers can put a face to Paul Duval's posts and comments. My daughter Cassandra (who also is a Nature photographer)finally obliged me, and caught me expounding on some obscure factoid, here by the side of Hwy 168 with Mt. Tom in the background. This is a pretty popular turnout for photography. The sign to my left is a little poignant I'm on the other side of 50, can you tell? Is it obvious? So I don't get around like I used to. And I fall down more. Oh well it's all worth it for the sake of "Art".

Just noticed that you are here, Paul - nice to see you ! I have long been impressed by your images - you bring such a fresh perspective to the Flora Gallery. Oh, and unless you are being propped up inconspicuously, you look fine to me !

Well thanks for the comments all, and not only do I fall down more I also have fashion emergencies. So a word to the wise carry a spare pair of pants when in the field. Glad I had some in the luggage on my Yosemite trip. Blew out this pair in Gorman getting down in tight on a group of California Poppies. Well something else popped. Thanks Cassie for indulging your dad.
