Sonata Pink

Shot this last night in "twilight's last gleaming", so it took a major WB adjustment to bring the colors closer to home. I think this is pretty close but I had trouble with the yellow center. It seemed every attempt left it either over saturated or slightly washed out. I guess it proves the importance of an accurate capture.

The thumbnail doesn't begin to do this justice Bruce. Love the comp and the detail at F/22 is superb. I'm surprised you could get it this sharp. I'm not sure what the original color was here but what I'm seeing certainly looks natural. This is very fine work for my tastes.

Really nice. I love the colors here. The pollen clumps scattered around the center are a nice bonus.

Hi Bruce,

What I really like about this image is the yellow center and the drops of pollen. Couldn't care less about the pink colors of the petals.

Just beautifully composed, Bruce ! The petal forms are perfect and superbly captured. The yellows look ok to me - maybe now a touch under saturated but that seems to blend with the pale pink/purple of the petals.
