Taken a couple months ago at Lake Kawpowsin, WA. The calm mood and cool light made this scene worth a few shots, I only wish I could have found a decent composition that didn't include the log.

Bruce, the "comp" accidentally on my screen in the larger version stops just above the log, and that looks good to me. You might try that. The light can also really be appreciated in the larger version.

I love the stillness and the cool blues Bruce. I can hear the quiet. My thoughts exactly about the log but still a wonderfully tranquil image.

Love the tranquility of this scene. Blue tends to do that. But you've got the little bit of cloud top catching the light, which really sets off the blue. Yes, the log is a minor distraction, but this is great as it stands.
