In the photo of boys rolling a log down the beach this is tha log they were rolling. It was taken an hour or so later and of course I was around the other side with sun at my back.

Nikon film camera.

Great shot. Who'd have thought that a picture of a log could be so good. I really like the details in the log and how the contrast with the smooth softness of the wet sand.

Mark this is the best result of scanning of an old slide I have gotten to date. Probably someone who is very experienced can get more consistant results but I get varied results.

Where is Burtonsville? I'm from just over the line in York, Pennsylvania and many years ago had travelled most of the state of Maryland.
