Beautiful Sandy - I love the pastel sky and the placement of the Yucca (?) is perfect. I do wish the BG sand and plants were a little more in focus, but that's pretty minor.

Those are some beautiful pastel colors Sandy. I really like the subtle pastel tones in the fg sand. A bit more sharpness in the mid-frame shrubs would have been nice but I like this as is too.

Well composed, Sandy. This certainly meets the challenge assignment. I have visited
White Sands twice but not for many years. Your image inspires to return again--soon.

Sandy, I am sure glad I checked out this gallery. The colors are amazing. I like the sharpness of the plant with the softer BG. I also the composition. The light getting darker from left to right gives me a sense of depth. Great eye.

Wow Sandy, what a lovely photograph! I like that only the foreground plants and sand are sharp and that the mid-ground is a little softer. That and the wonderful colors of the sky give this a very fine art look. Congratulations on the weekly pick. Very well deserved.

Stunning shot Sandy! You might consider cropping the bottom 10-20% of the image. In my opinion this will emphasize the plant more, making for a stronger composition. Just the same, I wish I had made that shot!

Lovely pastel colors against the soft white of the sand, and nice placement of the plant.

Sandy I am drawn to this photo by it's almost pastel type feel, and find both the composition and subject matter very pleasing to view. Thank you for sharing it with us.
