Another great day at Ft deSoto. I was shooting the Royal Terns courtship action when a big fight broke out over a fish . It ended up with 4 or five birds involved.

Wow, this is really spectacular Cheryl, maybe my favorite image of yours. Both birds heads sharp, the fact that they are different and attractive species and both grabbing the fish at the same time all make this special. Big congrats.

This is really nice Cheryl. My fav of your shots that I have seen. Great action, both birds sharp, nice exposure, and light in both bird's eyes. Fish adds a ton. Very well done.

Very dynamic shot with the spread out wings and water droplets. Both the tern and gull are sharp and good eye contact with both of them. The fish and crashing wave in the background add a lot.

Cheryl,
I love the title. Image isn't bad either. I really like that you have two different birds going at it over a fish with great details in both of their heads. I really like this a lot Cheryl.

Awesome action, Cheryl. The sharp focus on both bird's heads, the fish, the splashing and wing action combine to make this a spectacular image.

Excellent timing Cheryl! By chance or choice, the f/9 worked out real well and I love those perfectly formed and sharp water droplet flying from those well defined wings :^)

Excellent Cheryl. I know full well how difficult it is to get both birds facing you with this kind of action (was reminded of it again today) and you even got light in the eyes of both birds. The dynamic positions of the wings really adds to the shot. Nicely done.
