It's been a while since i posted my last image.......I just finished processing this one. I took this picture in february of 2011 just above the small village of Beatenberg located in the swiss alps. I stitched 9 single shots together in photoshop. Unfortuately this small version just doesn't do it justice.

Nikon D700, AF-S Nikkor 70-200mm/f2.8
1/3 sec, f10, iso 200

Beautiful pano scene here. I'll bet the detail in a large print is wonderful.

I can image this making a gorgeous wall-sized print! Love the light, textures and rugged mountain atmosphere. If it were my image, I would do a clone job on the contrails in the sky. Also, it might just be me but it seems to get kind of muddy on the right side, maybe boost the contrast using a gradient mask?

Yeah, big print has got to be nice. Wonder if you can touch up the uneven brightness of sky. Not sure if it from a polarizer or just natural variation with such a wide view.

panos just don't render well on the web - our monitors just aren't designed for them so this doesn't do it justice at all. impressive scenery though and great stitching.

Bill, this is a wonderfully balanced composition within the panorama format! I really does the majestic scene justice. I regret that we can achieve only an idea of your image on the monitor. Great work!

Nice panorama and the clouds make it a wonderful image (i am imagining the larger version). Missing Swiss Alps :(
