Tulip cloud

This large clump of white tulips was on display at the HK flower show last month. Saw this lone flower with a drooping petal amongst the sea fo white. Crouch down really low and over exposed to get this cloud like effect with frilly edge visible. The effect looks like where tulips go after they pass on

Pretty special Gary. I like the comp and processing decisions. It does look like clouds. Only possible suggestion would be to increase the saturation of the green and yellow to have it pop some more. It's a suggestion... I really like it as posted.

Delicate handling of a well composed image. Just enough of the center detail showing to give it a solid base. Well done!

Nice job of finding the drooping petal and taking advantage. The cloud effect works very well.

Very interesting image. It took a minute for me to see the image, it looked like the stamen and anthers were in snow. Very artistic image. Well seen and photographed.

Wonderful piece of work Gary ...love the break in color ..and the little green really suits the frame...The jagged edges of the white flower really gives a nice feel too ...lesser zoom with the green one mm up the frame and a larger version ..well done

Gary, this is very nice. Great comp and very different from (normal) flower photo.I agree that a slight saturation tweak might be a good idea, but love this as posted.

Way cool Gary. I love the sea (or cloud) of tulips with the subtle details visible. Very nice cram shot.

An image that stirs the imagination, Gary. The neatess of pistil and stamens struggles with the mistery in the whites; when, usually, the mistery is in the black. Beautiful work.
Take care.
