I've learned a lot about shooting sandstone intimates by viewing Tony's galleries and tutorials... I liked the lines and reflected light in this composition. Canon 5DII, 70-200, ISO 50, f/13, 1/4s, several frames blended for depth of field. Processed for contrast, saturation and sharpening in PS. Thanks for looking!

Your studies paid off very well here. This is a beautiful scene you captured, Chris. There's even a nice bit of optical trickery regarding depth here that I find appealing.
My only suggestion might be to burn down the two walls that border the frame slightly to highlight the interior walls even more. Or perhaps a subtle vignette/edge burning?

Not sure why iso 50 but damn that light is sweet. Excellent job w/ the dof blend. Bangarang :)

I like the composition and the great texture. I might suggest boosting contrast just a bit though. It has a really nice glow to it. I'm guessing this wasn't taken in Jacksonville!

Absolutely beautiful, Chris. Your techniques both shooting and processing the scene are flawless. I just love the lines and glow here.

Wonderful job with this intimate shot. Tony has quite a following, I'm one as well but I haven't had nearly the success as you have with this shot. The textures and lighting is super. To add to John's thoughts, I might trying burning in slightly at the far transition of each fold to add even more depth to the image by using the highlighted edge to your advantage. :toast:

Looks like you've got it down now! Beautiful colors, tones, and soft forms. My only nit is that the visual flow seems to be towards the right, end my eye seems to slide out of the frame that way. I think cropping a bit off the left helps with that.

Superb execution Chris, you definitely mastered the approach walking in these tight places :). I really like the scene and quality of the illumination.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments and suggestions. I'll play around with the crop and edge contrast to see if I can improve the visual flow. Thanks!

I think the subtle differences in brightness are what make this shot so special. Your ability to hold the texture also helps. This is so sensual that I can hardly restrain myself from running my fingers along those rocks.
