Dutchman in Kansas?

I went looking for a distraction from every day life this morning and found one in the form of Dutchman's Breeches. I liked this small grouping of blooms nestled into the nook of large tree's base.

50D, 100-400 @ 400 (640 EFL), 1/20 @ f/16, ISO 200, -0.5 EC, Cropped to a vertical pano

Very nice capture of this flower. I like the natural environment, the separation from the BG, and the cropped comp.

Wayne: What a beautiful find. I don't think I've ever seen these in the wild so this is a rare treat. I like the near pano crop and the supporting foliage. 2 thumbs up! >=))>

Excellent subject separation Wayne and a fine composition. Outstanding capture and presentation. I suppose if you wanted to darken the bg a bit you could but purely subjective.

Really nice comp and light. I like the vertical semi-pano format, too. Very nice environmental portrait.

Wayne:
I like this composition a lot. Excellent BG separation and nice inclusion of the foliage at the bottom.
