Although I'm not new to NPN I realized the other day that I have never really introduced myself formally and thought it would be nice to finally put a face with my photos. Well here goes..
I am a landscape/wildlife photographer based in the beautiful Adirondacks of New York State. I am self-taught and have been photographing the natural world for the past 10 years. I am also an avid outdoorsmen and love backpacking, fishing, camping, climbing, anything that puts me next to nature. My photographs have appeared internationally in publications all over the world. More of my work can be seen at

This is a self-portrait taken recently on a climb up Algonquin Peak, in the High Peaks Wilderness of the Adirondacks.

Really enjoyed you recent Adirondacks winter posts. You must have ice water flowing through those veins, I shiver thinking about the temps you had to withstand to get those images. So this is the iceman, noce to meet you.
