Looks very desolate! I like the lonely mood and some nice depth here. I think the tree might have worked if i could see it all, but i find it problematic being cut off at top--draws too much attention to that 'y' shape.

Well composed, but I think i would actually like this better without the tree in the FG. I know that sounds contradictory, bu the tree actually takes away from the raw beauty of the scene IMO. Looks like you have a slight yellow cast as well.

I like it. My initial reaction is that the tree is a visual barrier to the rest of the scene. But I get used to it. I like the scene, and the harsh desolate environment there.

Very interesting shot. I like the muted colors a lot and the glow the image has work very well here.

What a desolate landscape! I'm not convinced I like the tree, as I think the desert mountain view is more interesting. The glow adds some surreal effect that seems to contradict the desolate landscape in an interesting way.

Hamed: For me, the part of the picture that is most visually interesting is the folds in the rock hills. I would agree with Stan about the tree. My attention is immediately drawn to it as a foreground element, but it is both cut off, and what can be seen isn't all that visually interesting. The scene is dry and desolate apart from the tree, so I would have considered framing the scene without it, and perhaps finding some other visual element for the foreground. I'm no compositional wizard so take what I say with that in mind. Randall
