A few metres away from my earlier post, found here the late afternoon sun caught these rocks nicely. For some reason that day and the next, I kept looking for horo. comps but kept coming up with vertical. I think it works OK?

Those are some cool rock formations. It feels a bit cramped in the vert. comp, I think a hor. version would open up the upper rocks.

Really nice textures, Neale. The vertical works well. Sky looks like it has a bit of an ND effect, though it does put some added emphasis on the water and rocks.

The texture of the rocks and the light is nice. The rocks look chopped off to me and leaves me wonder what the rest of the rocks looks like. One thing I did try with this is covering up the small rock in the foreground and thought that might be a crop worth trying.

Great shot. The rocks are wonderful and you chose the composition very well. I agree about the sky being a bit dark, but the glow it creates on the foreground is a nice side-effect.

I like the vertical comp. My eyes jump right from the foreground rocks to the well lit portions of the midground rocks and then I see the distant hillsides. Great shot of a rocky coast.
