Rain Drops

I wanted to catch some photos as tulips have emerged in the garden. But, the rains were too much. So I grabbed this pot and brought it inside to shoot using filtered light. Full of rain drops, it provided opportunities for the Zeiss 100 mm macro, 13 sec shutter and ISO 200. Nikon D300

Well managed combination flower-water. The rose is placed very nicely within the frame. Well done Ken.

Ken:
I really like the drops on the metallic looking petals. The darkish center is intriguing. I might be tempted to darken the green to the same level as the center to make the lighting more balance.

Works for me exactly as posted Ken. I like the darkness in it but it's really the textures and droplets that sell it for me. Beautiful work.

Nice Ken. I like the metallic look Gary mentioned, and I think the green makes this one a real eye catcher. Reminds me of some of David Kelly's work. Excellent.
