Land of Tributaries

From top of Tuwaiq escarpment here in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia I took this shot of the bottom dry streams or tributaries. While shooting scatter clouds where passing and sunlight was coming in and out on parts of the land, their shadows can be seen on the bottom two thirds of the frame.

I like this one Mohsen! Would also be interested to see this in monochrome
Great use of lines...maybe brighten the overall scene by about 1/3 stop?

The passing shadows add depth and the textures and patterns are interesting.

This does a great job of capturing the stark beauty of the desert, Mohsen. I'm wondering if a little bump in contrast will help bring out the subtle transitions of light and shade in the upper part of the frame.

It looks like a satellite photo, really interesting.

The desert is an amazing place. The dry stream beds really make some interesting patterns through this desert scene. I also like all the other interesting lines and textures this shows. I like that some of this is in shadow, and some not in this interesting view.

Wow, this is quite and escarpment. Neat view, and the passing clouds add to the abstract quality of this.

The thumbnail doesn't look like much, but this is quite a fascinating image. It tells the story of this area quite well.

Here is another version as per Guy's suggestion...pushing contrast little.
Thanks all.

Nice shot Moshen. What really intrigues me id the amount of tire tracks in this scene - obviously a well visited site!
