This is my first photo in NPN. I hope you like it and please don't hesitate to critique my work.

Looks quite beautiful and intriguing. The composition appears very strong and I'd be interested to see a larger version with less post-processing. The colors in particular appear somewhat unnatural and the luminosity of the sky is uneven. That's not necessarily a bad thing and there's certainly an artistic quality to this shot. But this seems to be more of a creative personal interpretation of what nature presented rather than a faithful rendition of the scene.

Hi Abdullah. This is an interesting pictorialist interpretation. I personally feel that the colours seem slightly overdone. to me, the softness of focus, either by mist or PP, would work better with a subtle colour palette though. I agree that the composition is strong.

Welcome and what a nice first post you have here. I like the feel of this artistic work. The light and mist make for a peaceful mood and the comp is great.

Thanks all for the useful comments. The photo was taken at the sunset time and the soft focus was due to some un-expected moisture on the ND filter. The shot was at F16 and 3 seconds exposure with ISO of 100. I used olympus 4/3 camera to make this shot.

Yes, I admitted. I am not that good at processing photographs and I am learning my way through photoshop and other softwares as I move forward.

Looks very interesting but I really need to see it larger to be able to say something more juicy.

This is unusual light and very artistic. Only criticism is I wish you would post BIGGER picture so I could enjoy it more.

Abdullah,

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape/ES&S Gallery! Great to have you here.

As others have mentioned, you can post up to 720px in the long dimension and there is also an option to upload a 1200px "larger" image. Also, it's helpful if you can provide a bit more info about your image, your equipment, technique, etc. and include any questions or comments about the image to help us provide more complete comments and critiques. But no worries, it's new to you and it's understood.

As far as the image, this certainly has a surreal look and mood to it. It also doesn't really appear natural to me - at least having the green along the horizon. I'm not sure if it's from processing and/or if your intention was to create this effect. Hard to know - which is why it is often helpful to know what you thought and intented with your image.

I definitely like the subject matter and mood here, just wondering if this is more of a Photo Art type image or simply that you're learning about image processing.

Thanks for posting and we look forward to your images and participation.

I am sorry for not including more information. It's my first time here. Any way, the photo was taken at the sunset time and the soft focus was due to some un-expected moisture on the ND filter. The shot was at F16 and 3 seconds exposure with ISO of 100. I used olympus 4/3 camera to make this shot.

Also, what I did in PS is changing the white balance which result in changing the colors to this blue and then increase the saturation. I have also played with the curves

Here is a bigger size   :
