Nauset By Moonlight

This image of the Nauset Light on Cape Cod was made during our recent full moon. The bright light from the moon highlighted the lighthouse without washing out the stars. As the light turned, it illumintaed some thin fog.

I like the supernatural light you have captured here Greg. Perfect timing and perfect stars as well as a nice balance of light and dark.

What a great time to be shooting the lighthouse. That hint of fog makes this an otherworldly scene. It's almost like the lighthouse was using a white laser (which doesn't exist). Either that or its sucking the light out of the sky showing off the stars. It's a very cool image.

Great shot, Greg! I love the surreal light of the lighthouse, but also how other objects in the frame seem selectively lit, while others remain dark. Simply fantastic!
