I'm sadly working down to the end of my images from my day with Ron Bielefeld and his 400-mm lens. I have no idea the age of this grebe, but I think they are so cute. I wish the bird had been turned a bit more toward me. All feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The sharpness and color looks great Barbara. I might take a bit more off the bottom to just under the reflected head to make the bird more off center. I bit more of a head turn toward you would have been nice too, but this works as posted.

He is cute! Wonderful detail, especially like the movement in the water. Nice sharp colors, too.

Exposure, colors, sharpness are look very good, especially in the larger version. I'd rotate this a little CW and trim a bit off the top.

Very nice job, Barbara. I like the implied V in the waves with the Grebe hanging out in the center of the V.

No suggestions. I think you did very well.

Cheers,

Carol

Good bird detail, Carol. The smooth blue water is striking against the subject. Cute little guy.

Nice look at this cute little guy, Barbara. Nice exposure and nice and sharp. I would give it a bit of clockwise rotation. A good indicator of when it is level is to look at the reflection and the bird. The end of the bill on the bird and the end of the bill on the reflection should be in a level vertical line with each other.
