Trying a new technique I'm learning from Mark S Johnson. Took my Iris abstract image that is posted in flora as a test case.
All comments/critiques most appreciated as I go down this path or is it a hole?

I like what you've achieved here. The colors are vibrant and eye-catching. There is enough in focus to get some idea of what it was originally. It's not a hole, but it probably should be a short path.

You're not in a hole with this one, Bob. You're at the top of the mountain. Most
creative and original.

Man, this is tremendous! Great choice of colors and shapes. I'll take a hole like this any day.

Aptly named! I like this a lot - very vibrant colors, perfect symmetry, and just enough in focus to hold attention.
Very well done!

Lovely job, Bob. Nice mirroring work and the complementary colors are great. I should have a kaleidoscope like this one

I've often heard of gardens and meadows referred to as a kaleidoscope of color, now you've turned a single bloom into one. Why not many kaleidoscopes of single blooms? You may have started a series for a book here. Very interesting work.
