I was out this morning at my favorite place around Scottsbluff, Cedar Canyon. The day was very pleasant and the Mountain Blue Birds were back. I only had my 300mm lens with me and this is as close as they would let me get. I like the perch in this image. Comments are welcome and appreciated.

Nice perch. The vivid blue stands out very well from the background. To me, it looks pretty good for the distance and lack of lens.

Great composition. Even though the bird looks small its still catches the eye. Great perch. Well done.

I like seeing the blue "pop" against the BG. It works for me.

The blue against a monotone background and the nice perch works well for me also.

A great perch and setting Richard. The details of the bird don't look great but understandable with the crop and distance. :toast:
