Welcome to Africa
by Morkel Erasmus
We were on an afternoon drive in the Sabi-Sands Game Reserve, South Africa, ducking and diving from the storm that was passing overhead.
We came into a clearing, and saw a small herd of buffalo. As we approached them, the sky opened up, the sun came through, and voila! A huge double rainbow towered over a bunch of one of Africa's largest mammals, minisculing them.
This, unfortunately, has to be viewed large to appreciate.

Sorry I'm a little late in the game on this one! Very nice animalscape and definitely agree that the larger version does this image much more justice. I like the land/sky proportions you chose and my only nit has already been mentioned - a bit of a shame the buffalo weren't a little closer. But still a very appealing and powerful image as posted!
Cheers...

Brad - no worries :)
