Nice colorful forest scene. The red leaves provide a nice contrasting focal point. Based on my monitor, I might pull back a little on the yellow and the exposure overall.

Albert: I like the scene but the WB/color looks way off. Here's a quick and dirty rework.>=))>

I love the comp and subject. Gnarled trees "call" to me to photograph them! I love their unique forms and textures. The re-post is so much better! I, too, was going to suggest taking away the strong yellow cast. This is a good start.
IMO... darkening the leaf litter would give the piece an overall "earthy" mood and throw your attention to the main subject.. But don't lose the moss and rock face on the BR. For some reason, I love that little scene. It shows the rock has some depth to it and isn't just a flat rock. And, I think I might burn the crevices a bit for depth, if darkening the leaf litter doesn't give you the depth you want---but, "only" if the darkening of the background doesn't suit you.
If you really want to travel out of the box.... and go insane like Moi....you could treat the rock scene like a flower and paint all the leaf litter black. I think that would look cool Maybe yes, maybe no. But, I'll bet it would be interesting It would definitely be unique.

Albert:
Love the shapes and texture here. Very colorful once the yellow cast is removed. Good eye to spot this.

Albert, I like the comp and I agree with the others about the colour cast. Capturing the trunk of the tree over the rock mirrors perfectly with the fallen leaves and ferns and the natural timelines.

Albert, the second post is better. May be you should reduce a bit the saturation. IMO the original image was a too yellow. I like the overal arrangement.

Beautiful composition and textures Albert. I'd pull back on the yellow some - so I agree with the others about that. Very well seen and composed.

Haven't been feeling well, missed the yellow cast. Here is the better version.

Beautiful textures, Albert - especially the moss and the tree bark. And wonderful colours in the autumn leaves scattered so naturally and yet forming a fine composition.
