Excellent abstract, Scott! Good detail with appropriate DOF,
and the colors are lovely. POF appears to be right on also.

Drop dead gorgeous image Scott. Love the colors but it's the comp and light that really sells it for me.

Very beautiful! Wonderfully graceful and stupendous colors. My only (and very minor) nit would be the petal in the lower right which appears to be coming at the lens. Its a little distracting but it is a very minor nit! Just beautiful! :toast:

What a lovely image, with the gradations of color from blue to purple to pink. The lines in the petals make the image flow.

Scott:
Dahlia is my favorite flower - so many angles and ways to photograph it. I like what you have done here - it really beautiful. The curves and lines are just nicely shown and the texture & color tone are just right. Well done.

Beautiful glowing color and irridescence. I assume you added some kind of special effects. Looks like it needs more contrast and defintition. Maybe a vignette or some kind of framing device.

Just superbly composed, Scott ! Grounding the image on the small petal tip in the bottom R corner provides a great base for the swirl of petals above. Like this very much.
