Gorgeous lighting and nice detail here Wayne, I'd prefer a little more room on the right and less on the left if you have it. :toast:

This is some sweet light you got, Wayne. The vertical comp enhances the terrific pose. I like the intensity on the spoonbill's face. I second Nate's suggestion on adding room to the right. It currently looks very centered. :toast:

I agree with the centering issue, so I moved it slightly to the left side. Not much, because this is more of an up-down movement(hover) as opposed to forward flight. Here's a repost.

As noted, the light here is awesome and really sets off the great landing pose and look of concentration in the bird's face. I agree a bit more room to the right would be nice and very easy to add, even if you don't have it in the original image. :toast:

Wow, super nice Wayne. One of my favs of yours. The repost comp is spot on IMO. Love the light and the flight position. Great sharpness and detail too. Very well done.

Very nice Wayne, love the pose here. Good detail in the SB,with great light as mentioned. I might be tempted to add a bit more room than in the repost, but good choice with the vertical shot.

certainly an interesting pose and love these pink plumages! I agree that more space is needed in front of the bird

Great pose and light Wayne... I think your repost works well, giving that small extra amount of space to the right. Nice work.

excellent flight shot, Wayne--really a beauty with nice light and color. I prefer the repost, and personally would still like the bird just a hair closer to the upper left.

The larger view is quite amazing, in terms of the sheer beauty of the subject, the pose and the excellent technical aspects. You caught the spoonbill perfectly to reveal the underside of both wings. Only in Florida!!! :toast:

Wonderful light and pose!
Not sure about the comp - this might work well with a more traditional horizontal comp.

Absolutely superb flight pose with terrific details and light. I think the vertical orientation is the appropriate one here.
